Taiwan AI Labs and National Taipei University of the Arts Sign MOU to Create "Metaverse Arts University"
In a significant development, Taiwan AI Labs and National Taipei University of the Arts jointly announced their partnership today, marking the commencement of a new era for the National Taipei University of the Arts as the "Metaverse Arts University." The historic moment of this collaboration was witnessed during a press conference where Taiwan AI Labs founder, Ethan Tu (杜奕瑾), and National Taipei University of the Arts President, Chen Kai-huang (陳愷璜), signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU).

During the press conference, the "Vision Video for National Taipei University of the Arts Metaverse Arts University" made its debut, showcasing a grand future blueprint. This collaboration focuses on advanced creations that combine technology and art, covering Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR). Since 2022, the two parties have been closely collaborating to comprehensively plan the facilities of the Metaverse Arts University, aiming to create a more digitalized and innovative art institution.
The upcoming Technology Art Museum at National Taipei University of the Arts will serve as the gateway to the virtual era, showcasing the multiple applications of technology art such as big data, cloud algorithms, blockchain, and artificial intelligence.
